A Bit About Me

Even as a young child I was always conjuring up stories and filling them with colorful characters, sharing them with anyone and everyone who would listen. I began writing at age eleven and after my first taste of storytelling, I was hooked. Novels are my main focus and I generally stick to young adult literature. YA literature allows me to tap into the depths of human emotions and motivations at a major turning point in life. Writing the genre felt like a breath of fresh air, and once I began writing it, nothing else satisfied me. I occasionally write short stories but those stories tend to venture outside of the YA world. When I listen to a moving song or take a walk through a park, I create the occasional poem, although those tend to stay in the scribbled notebook tucked inside my bedside table. On rare occasions they break free.
